1)  Remove chain from standard cap.

2)  Attach chain to the TankLock cap with new screw provided.

3)  Screw TankLock cap into deck fill and tighten with wrench.

4)  Insert shield into TankLock cap by pressing down on locking bolt with thumb.

5)  Your tank is now protected.

6)  To open Tanklock, hold shield with one hand and turn key with the other.

7)  Pull shield from cap.
